IHOP and Applebee’s

Serving Up Global Dominance

CHALLENGE

Develop a global marketing activation that would increase IHOP and Applebee’s international market share by generating buzz and excitement around the brands and successfully engaging, educating, and converting potential franchisees into partners and brand advocates.

Approach

Through the creation of a compelling road show experience featuring restaurant build outs and unparalleled experiential culinary demonstrations. We were able to bring each brand to life for both franchises, global and local media outlets, and consumers in three key international markets. To make this economically feasible, we helped to develop and execute an international sponsorship program, including both global brand sponsors and local sponsors to fund all costs.
